Current Release
Changes in current release 1.6.2, 5 August 2010:
- Added "xvptag" command-line utility for managing VM tags.
- Set error reporting in xvpweb to suppress deprecated warnings with PHP 5.3.

Upgrading from earlier releases of xvpappliance
To upgrade an existing xvpappliance from 1.5.1, 1.6.0 or 1.6.1 to 1.6.2, without having to re-install, follow these steps:
- Run /usr/sbin/xvpappliance, select Manage
Software Updates and then Check for xvp
updates now.
This will allow you to download and install the latest versions of the xvp, xvpweb and xvpappliance packages. - If upgrading from 1.5.1, repeat step 1, in order to download the new libxenserver package.
To upgrade from 1.5.0 to 1.6.2, follow steps 1 and 2 above, plus these extra steps:
- Run the program again, and select Configure xvp pools and then Rediscover details for all pools now.
- If you wish to convert from direct console VNC connections on port
5900 to tunnelling consoles over HTTP/HTTPS,
use Configure web server, and say yes to
the tunnel question. Before doing this, read the item
about
ValidatorExceptionon the Troubleshooting page.
After upgrading from releases before 1.6.0, reboot the appliance.
