Rune Nilssen raised on the mailing list the issue of how to tag VMs in XCP. With XenServer, you could use XenCenter, and I'd mistakently assumed with XCP one would have to use "xe". But it turns out neither Xen Server's nor XCP's "xe" has any command options to manage VM tags!
However, these options exist in the underlying Xen API, so I've added a new utility to the xvp suite, "xvptag", which provides a command-line based way of accessing this functionality. This will be included starting with the xvp 1.6.2 release.
